New Season: I need to get moving – But where to start?
It’s that time of year again! Back to school. Weather changes. You know you should get moving, but just cannot get motivated? Is joining a group for you? Should I hire a personal trainer ? It can be difficult to get moving on your own. I suggest to sit down and ask yourself these TOP questions to help you navigate to the best program/classes out there:
1: Do you have a specific goal in mind? Get stronger? Help with your back pain? lose weight?
2. Do you prefer a social setting or want to be coached alone? In a gym setting with others around or in the comfort of your own home?
3. What activities did you like to do when you were younger? Walk outside? Skate? Sports? Bike?
4. What is in your area? What is cost effective?
5. Make the first step and email/call to find out more info. Narrow it down to a few options.
I know its hard to do this all… but start somewhere. baby steps 🙂
