Hi I’m Wendy- Welcome to my website!!
Who am I ?
I was first introduced to “fitness” when my only older sister “dragged” me to an “aerobics” class in the early 90’s. I wanted to support my sister’s endeavours but I truly didn’t think I would like it. Was I wrong! Turns out I stayed and she didn’t. I loved the classes- the atmosphere, the social support and having the opportunity to move and have fun!
Not long after, I was encouraged by that teacher to take a fitness instructor course. I was hesitant, but thought – why not! Little did I know then that this was to be my lifelong career!
I have not looked back and am truly grateful for the last 20 years+ to inspire, motivate and get people to start living fit and healthy in the Oromocto/Fredericton area!
I’ve always wanted to change the way people thought about fitness! Make it fun, educational, diverse and offer a challenging experience!
I later turned to personal training to further inspire people and still love assessing and coaching people individually.
I now also offer Yoga- Sivananda Vinyasa Warrior, Pilates, and Kettlebell Classes. I started Fit Camp in 2005 to get people out of their traditional gym routines and to think outside the box! I strive to offer the safest and most effective evidence based programming for all my clients while providing an experience that is fun and educational!

Wendy Hamelin, B.P.E., Kinesiologist, NSCA-CPT (National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Personal Trainer), CSEP-CPT-TM. (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology-Certified Personal Trainer) has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years.
She is the sole creator and trademark owner of Fit Camp™ Wendy offers Personal Training, Dynamic Fitness Classes, KettleBell Classes, Yoga and Pilates classes, Fitness Courses/Workshops and she has become a Certified/Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®)/ Pilates Teacher leading classes that focus on balancing the body, mind & spirit.
